This Carriage House is heavily studded with beautiful hand hewn beams, and boasts many quarter sawn oak beams and planks throughout. Thick, wide planking adorns the interior walls. Gracefully arching cathedral doors are complimented by matching windows. Every detail, down to the grain bins upstairs were built with exacting care and as a result, this structure is still in excellent condition.

Architectural Details

Attention to detail is the phrase that best captures the spirit of this structure. From the decorative trim outside to the painstaking mortice and tenon work on each beam, it is obvious that this structure was built by a very skilled and dedicated crew. Also has a nice winding stairway to the second floor complete with time smoothed treads that have seen over 130 years of foot traffic.
